Acceptable Use Policy

This policy governs everyone using any part of QueraIS — the gateway API, the chat app, and node operators. It is part of the Terms of Service. "We" means the operator.

Prohibited content and conduct

You must not use the network to create, request, serve, or distribute:

• Illegal activity — anything illegal where you live or where the serving node operates. You are responsible for knowing your own law; we do not curate for your jurisdiction.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content sexualizing minors — zero tolerance. Any attempt triggers an immediate permanent ban, and we will report to the relevant authorities as required.
• Malware, weapons, and bio misuse generation — code or instructions whose purpose is ransomware, exploits, botnets; weapons design or synthesis routes for chemical/biological/nuclear harm.
• Targeted harassment — campaigns against a specific person or group: doxxing, impersonation, defamation pipelines, non-consensual intimate imagery.
• IP infringement at scale — using the network as a mass pipeline to reproduce copyrighted or trademarked material. Personal experimentation is not the target; industrial-scale extraction is.
• Attacks on users and the network — attempting to extract other users' data or other operators' keys, DoS, settlement griefing, deliberately wrong inference results to farm payments, or triggering the verification/dispute systems dishonestly.
• Rate abuse and resource abuse — hammering free/sponsored endpoints, scripted spam of the chat app, or load designed to degrade service for others.
• Verification circumvention and sybil attacks — evading output verification, rotating wallets/IPs to dodge bans, or multi-accounting to drain sponsored credits (including operator-funded chat prompt quotas).

Enforcement ladder

Enforcement is applied at the operator's discretion, roughly in this order, depending on severity:

1. Throttle — rate limits or reduced quota.
2. Suspend credits — prepaid credit accounts frozen from spending.
3. Ban wallet / IP / account — permanent exclusion of the identifiers used.
4. On-chain freeze where applicable — for nodes: stake frozen and slashed through the dispute contracts; and the operator can pause the contracts entirely during serious incidents.

Illegal-content cases skip the ladder straight to ban + report. We may preserve evidence and share it with authorities where the law requires or permits.

To report a violation: open an issue at github.com/ShavitR/querais/issues or email shavitrwork@gmail.com. For CSAM reports, include what you saw; do not redistribute the content yourself.
